top three favorites!!

today i feel like summing up all the top three things i have loved in this life!! of cos, all are in no particular order!! and here goes...

TOP THREE MOVIES

1. THE DARK KNIGHT

i like the plot, and also that joker suffer from a bad childhood, not only batman. that explains alot for his crooked personality! however, i started to doubt how joker got his scars as the story he told the black guy and the female lead are two different versions.... one additional plus to the movie is that batman is so pleasing to the eyes.. sigh. and i was told heath ledger is a nice looking dude too. and so is two face. its a strange thing that the female lead is cui compared to the guys tho.

2. MEN OF HONOR

speaking about touching, i will highly recommend this for those who need some inspiration. here are some spoilers: this is about a black guy who kana discriminated and not allowed into the US navy just cos he's black. the whole movie shows how much effort he put in to convince those stuck up white snobs of his sincerity, and his determination to become US first black diver. applause please.
starring robert de niro as the black guy's mentor. i think(:



3. WINDSTRUCK

let the tears flow!! this is the movie that i cried buckets over. talk about a real tear-jerker. oh my. its so sweet and romantic and loving and cute to see how the korean couple quarrel den make peace, and how they love each other. it makes u wonder why we are satisfied with our routine love lives and why we are so materialistic when we believe that a bouquet of 99 roses mean everything. what the guy did for the girl will put all boyfriends to shame. this script must be written by a girl i swear. and the female lead is super pretty and cute.

TOP THREE ADS

1. ADIDAS - JOSE + 10

in case people dunno wad this is about, lemme first tell u its damn good. its every little boy's dream come true. it shows two kids calling out names of famous international football stars and as they list the names, the stars started popping out from every corner and wall. den when the two kids finallt gotten their team, they start playing. the ad shows lots of cool stunts the stars made, and of cos quite a few hunks as well. its super funny to see the kids bossing the pro footballers around. the ad ended when his mother shouted down to him to get his ass home.

2. KFC

this ad is about the variety value meal with shrooms burger and one pc chicken, plus drink and sides and the shrimp nugget thing. it shows a guy with the kfc meal gg into a taxi and when its time to pay, he offer cash but the driver said no change. when he offered card the driver shook his head and salivate at the meal. ha ha. cant seem to find any pics on the ad tho, but we all noe the meal is crap.

3. SONY ERRICSSON

this ad tease us for being pissed at life's little mishaps. and i love how they use their logo to replace the heart shape for love, like this:

the mishaps are as follows: trapped walking in the rain, commuting a long distance is from NUS to east!!, jogging before dawn without company, being without a girl, grocery shopping with ur mom, being a bench warmmer, having to train for cca etc, having to work late, having ur car died on u when u are in a damn ulu place, and missing the last bus home. this is how i interpret the ad la.

2. TACO PACHI

i am not seeking approval here, but this is wad i really wanted from time to time. its this japanese snack thing, consists of flour balls with cheese and ham, shrimp or baby octupuses as its centre, drenched in mayonaise and terriyaki sauce and fish flakes. yum. cant find images, use imagination!!

3. CHICKEN WINGS

i know hormones are injected into these things... but it is super yummy oooh la la!!
will be there to make u feel all better, den fat again. but the taste is worth it.

i am trying not to be pissed but...

wa liew i really hate china ppl.

today it was super crowded on the small narrow walkway and when the china cyclist reached me he scolded me for blocking his way. wth!! how dare he scold a singaporean girl in her territory. so here comes the outburst: stupid, low class uncivilised rubbish losers come here to occupy our space waste our air and lower overall living standards. i should have ask him to go back china and rot in hell. i should not continue my cursing cos i gt image to uphold and i dun like to be known to be cruel.

this week is my last week of work!! very happy tt i am finally free of the routine of office life and back to the routine of school life. o well at least not everyday is repetitive, its every week now. but must jia you pull up cap!!

went out with bing yesterday to orchard and had some heart to heart talk, realise i must catch up more with this bunch of smart ppl to improve and reinvent myself!! jia you cindi ang!

arts camp and wad happened to me recently

i was working like usual when i received a missed call on my phone. so i called back.

me: hello?

person: is this cindi?

me: yes.

person: i am zeenath, i bought a broadband plan from you?

me: oh, how can i help you?

zeenath: i wish to cancel my order cos i think it would be a better idea to compare prices between starhub and singtel.

me (sadded): ok, but i
cant really rmb this order, if its ok can u give me your name and ic?

den while i was out eating buffet with my arts camp freshies, a starhub person called me!! she said that the customer complained against me cos i cant remember who is she, and why i am so unprofessional to the sense that i cant recall who is she. so i thought to myself, she is not the only customer i have what, and tt she only bought a stupid 27 dollar broadband plan from me, still create so much trouble. den the starhub person continue to say that another promoter from my office, MSH, actually promote the customer a better offer, so now the customer wants to sign up with the other promoter instead. so i said that since the customer called me earlier that day, abnd tt she can rmb my name, i bet she told the other promoter tt she is liasing with me. so isnt the other promoter now snatching my customer? the starhub person just said she will refer this issue to my manager, and so i forgot about it.

the next day, my manager told everyone during the briefing that a senior promoter in the same company is actually snatching my sale!! and that the senior promoter told the customer that since i am a student and wad i say is all inaccurate and that the customer should call customer service and complain against me!! and den he /she told the customer its more reliable to sign the plan with him/her. my manager said tt the senior is being mean and betraying other ppl's trust, and tt she will make sure everything the senior did will be on camera, and that my sale will be returned to me. wad an episode!!

overall it is super fun experience and i nv regretted being an ogl, cos tt earns me more frens ie the house ic and other ogls. and altho the food sucked, my poor wang keep whining i neglected him, i am still pretty happy after the camp. and the exorcism of emily rose still spooked me till now. thank god for my soft gou gou.
