christmas in a wrap

one fine day, we were so bored so wang brought me and his little brother to sakae!!
the fried dou foo and the chawanmushi is my bestest favourite. i think the overall dining experience is quite nice but wang told me he din like it very much): and his little brother is so funny:D we went to play basketball after that. talk about indigestion.

outing with 05S12 ppl! not everyone is invited, but everyone who is invited turn up!

christmas lights viewing at orchard. as usual i was bothered by the crowd cos i dun really like to do these silly things. but wang said its a new experience, cliched as it was....

weekends call for some proper food so we ate pepper lunch!! i dun like my pepper chicken cos the pepper is too overwhelming. that explains why it is the cheapest thing on the menu.

den we went to soak in the cultural air... spurred on by my first visit to the museum with diana!

another is spent cycling in east coast!we tried the couple bike, the one where two ppl sit in line on the same bike. its super stressful for me cos a)i suck at cycling due to lack of equilibrium, b)i'm not used to wang's jerky and swerving way of cycling. but its better den seperate bikes cos wang din have to wait for me, and tt i can rest while he paddles away!!

some gifts i received for christmas. thank u wang for the nice surprise! although the surprise badly smudged my mascara that day!(:

i have two things to announce!!
1) i am in chingay!! ha ha nv even imagine i would be given my three left feet!! but the dance is so simple we are doing it with kids-.- but they are japanese kids!! kawaii!

Outing 1: wan e mole

we try to look for jobs but ended up shopping and eating instead. she bought a new phone which she claims will change to another song if u were to shake it. den she tried to shake it but only succeeding in looking retarded ha ha.

Outing 2: diana and sherry

we went to the esplanade to take pics and be tourists for a day!

we saw alot of ang mohs and china ppl there. i din noe the merlion is still such a big deal. alot of ppl are doing the cliche "merlion water spilling out of my mouth" shot.

not to mention the wind is super nice. but we are super warm in need of the loo, so we went to the fullerton hotel to explore the toilets and touch the koi(them not me!)

we were at downtown east listening to a concert den encourages active aging. that explains the yellow beam of light on our faces. and no, i dunno why we are there.

den we went to fly kite. FLY, COOKIE MONSTER FLY!

reason for the silly name. altho its not really cookie monster himself, but the color made us think of him.

Outing 5: Batam

my mom and her fren. we were on the boat!

me and wang. i was super hyper the first 15 mins of the boat trip i keep snapping pics of everyone and running around in the boat, also WA-ing super loudly when the boat starts to move. WHEE!

my two brothers who are idiotic cos they refuse to pose for a shot.

stop one: crackers. all the fish crackers etc... not interested.

den we went to a temple to pray. very boring too.

i dunno why wang snapped me upclose. i tot he was pretty far so i wasnt looking at the camera.

den we went to a restaurant for lunch.

this is wad we ate for lunch. i was very sad cos all i ate is the fish and soup cos a)wang only peeled the prawns at the end of lunch for me, b)the kang kong and crab is spicy, c)the seashell thing is simply too disgusting.

the whole afternoon is den spent SHOPPING SHOPPING SHOPPING.

when we reach singapore back at night,

went to flea market today. as in, set up a flea market booth today with mom dearest. she sold 80 bucks worth of things ha ha. the 4 hours there flashed past. the poor malay booth opposite us sold nothing. ha ha.

exam week

i am so bored. its already december and i am still mugging. wanling's blog on how happy she is catching up makes me wan to give up all tt mugging. WHY WHY WHY am i so stupid as to make my exam period last two whole weeks!! not to mention reading week. GRR.

looking on the brighter side, i get to play like mad during the hols. i must!! or i will be super letting myself down.

exam week happenings

dun let exam get you down nor cramp ur style! to prevent myself from gg bonkers,

me and wang bought sushi at half price after nine o clock! den we find one seat to plonk our butts den start gorging ourselves. the experience is far chaeper and meaningful den eating sakae! its wonderful being broke sometimes(:

studying at the airport. cold and bad hair day. but wang's dad has this airport staff kopitiam card den we ate at 30% off!!! save alot lei!

when i saw this, i think singapore's govt has really went too far. in order to accomodate more job snatchers, cheena prostitutes and bell curve spoilers, we cant even sit on the trains now! this really made my long commute more unbearable. 18 mrt stops. sob!

was so bored with studying den i realise my eyelashes are really long!!! look!! no mascara hor!!! heh heh. how lian abit.

and ta dah!! yes i got a new tattoo. cute hor the design so small and discrete. dear frens, date me to find out more k!! think hanbing will kill me. she forbidded me to pierce more holes in my ear saying she dun wan me to look like a christmas tree. ho ho!

ranting

today is the day of my japanese oral interview. silly me, the interview is only 5 mins, but i took great pains to ensure that i am familiar with all the japanese terms and so on. i remembered there was this once when i went to class without practise but i spoke very well tt day cos i was wearing red. so i tot, hey red must be my lucky colour right? WRONG.

i broke my shoe when i reached school.

determined not to let it get to me, i smiled to my helpless passer-by fren and asked him to hurry along to lecture while i run to the clubroom to see if there is an extra pair of shoes.

no there isnt. so i start calling all my frens who stayed in hall but none of them is convenient at that time to help me. suddenly i felt very sian cos all i heard was "sorry cant help you" over the phone. (not tt it was the person's fault, but the misfortune is not helping with my mood and i cant help feeling frustrated.) den camy said: why dun u try michelle? i was a little stunned that she wud extend kindness my way tt i am a little pleased. followed by diana gg over to yih to get me a new pair of slippers ha ha. and alson and adrian popping by the canteen to get me lunch, and dear eileen who rmb by sway-ness and decided to make my day by helping me get a chocolate waffle(: was super thankful for diana today! and eileen's sweetness really made my day.

and red did not helped me with my oral interview today too. bleah.

moving on to happier things, can u say KAWAII NE!!!

when i saw this picture i started hyperventilating and force my dad to hand me the car keys so i can get to the rooftop of the multi storey carpark and start practising drifting now. i wan to quick quick get liscence! look at the interior. OMG.
